Winston Salem Gyms: Why You Can’t Lose Weight “99.8% of People Don’t Do This and You Should”

April 30th, 2009 by Winston Salem, under winston salem gyms. No Comments

Here’s What You Need to Know
I’m going to give you the most important overall reason as to why you aren’t successful at losing weight. It’s easy to correct for the 99.8% of people who don’t do this.
Before I give you the reason, I want to make something clear to you. Most of your weight loss will be attributed to your diet. Dieting is far more powerful for losing weight as compared to exercise.
Combined, they’re great. But if you had to choose one or the other to lose weight… diet or exercise… choose diet. Believe me you need to know the importance of it because you could spend hundreds of grueling hours in the gym for nothing.
Here is Why YOU Cant Lose Weight
Now that I’ve said that, here’s the #1 reason as to why you can’t lose weight, and what you can do about it right now. You probably don’t organize your meals!
Diet is more Important than Exercise
Since diet is most important when it comes to weight loss… and organizing your meals is most important to eating correctly… it’s logical to say that not organizing your meals is the biggest factor holding a person back from successfully losing weight and keeping it off forever.
I know you know the basics to weight loss. They’re common knowledge by now. But why don’t you follow them? It’s because you “play things by ear” and don’t plan out your meals for the week.
If you planned out your meals and got all the necessary foods on a Sunday, you’re way ahead of the game for losing weight. And the truth is, it’s not that hard to do. It really isn’t. Organizing your meals and your life will ensure success in anything you do!
If You are Not Prepared, You Will FAIL
If you’re not prepared and organized with your diet, then you’re going to eat foods for convenience. When you’re unprepared and starving, you’ll eat anything that’s around (especially quick fix meals; like fast food, junk food, etc.). So by preparing ahead of time, you have the power to choose what you eat since you are thinking with a clear head instead of a hungry mouth.
Bottom line: The more prepared and organized you are with your diet, the more likely you’ll be to lose weight. It’s not luck or fate that is holding you back from weight loss. It’s taking control of your life and getting organized!
So sit down for 15-20 minutes and plan out what foods you need and what your meal and snack plan will be for the next week. If you do that and follow the plan (provided you are choosing somewhat healthy foods), you can’t help but to lose weight. If this sounds to challenging than I suggest you use an automation Diet plan. This is software that creates healthy meal options for you every day for 2 weeks in advanced. Learn more by clicking here >>> http://www.lose9in11days.com

Winston Salem Gyms:Lose Belly Fat

April 29th, 2009 by Winston Salem, under winston salem gyms. No Comments

Getting rid of belly fat is the toughest part of any weightloss program, but a few lifestyle changes can help you get rid of that ugly belly fat. Here’s how:
1. Don’t overeat Sounds simple, but how many of us follow this rule? We really don’t need that many calories each day – about 1800 is more than enough for the average adult. Always leave the dinner table feeling like you could have eaten more, and leave a gap of atleast 2 hours between meals.
2. Chew! Your mom probably nagged you to chew your food well and she was right? When you take your time with your meals and chew slowly, you not only get more flavour and nutrition out of your food, you also feel full faster so you don’t overeat.
3. Switch to tea You need to ban those aerated drinks and colas rightaway. Aerated drinks lead to abdominal bloating which can give you an unsightly paunch. Switch to tea instead if you really need a caffeine kick without empty calories. Fennel tea is great for abdominal swelling. Just remember – use a bit of honey instead of heaping your tea with sugar.
4. No more midnight feasts Leave a gap of atleast 3 hours between dinner and bedtime. This gives you body time to digest your food and convert it into energy instead of fat. Try and shut down your kitchen at a fixed time every night and don’t have any readymade or microwaveable snacks lying around.
5. Exercise You were dreading this bit, weren’t you? The bad news is that you just cannot get rid of belly fat unless you exercise. The good news is that you don’t have to spend hours in the gym for that. The point is not just to lose weight fast, but to change your lifestyle from a sedentary to an active one. You can start out slow — go for a little walk with a loved one after dinner or join a dance class. Just find something you think is fun and stick to it.
It’s not impossible to get rid of belly fat. Just have faith in yourself and concentrate on being healthy!

Winston Salem Gyms:Tips on How to Lose Weight Fast and Effortlessly

April 28th, 2009 by Winston Salem, under winston salem gyms. No Comments

Being overweight can be a great burden and finding a way to get back to a normal and healthy weight can make a big difference in your life. The consequences of excess weight include lack of energy, loss of self esteem and confidence just to name a few. Unfortunately there are many conflicting and contradictory approaches to weight loss being taught out there and it can get confusing as to which approaches really work. Here are a few tips to help you get on the road to losing fat and staying thin.
Tip 1: Eat less more often
This may sound contradictory to eat more often in order to lose weight however starvation based diets rarely work. This is because when you starve yourself your overall metabolism which is your bodies fat burning capacity diminishes. However if you eat smaller portions more frequently your metabolism should stay at a higher rate so even though you are consuming more calories you body burns it off much easier.
Tip 2: Add muscle to your body
Muscle is a powerful weapon in the battle against fat. The best way to add muscle is to weight train. You can join a gym and take some personal training sessions to get familiar with the exercises. There are also many useful home gyms you can buy that can give you fantastic weight training benefits right from the comfort of your home. Even starting out with a simple bench and set of dumbbells can be great until you need more weight as your body gets stronger.
Tip 3: Do aerobics regularly
Many people work jobs where they are seated idle for long hours and not very active, If you are not physically active then this can hurt your health in many ways and can also lead to obesity. Aerobic exercise can be done in many ways including jogging, running or even walking. Many people prefer walking as it is the least stressful on your joints. Golf is a great game where you can walk and have fun at the same time so consider taking it up as it offers many benefits.
Tip 4: Eat more alkaline foods
Green colored foods are considered alkaline like broccoli and spinach. These kinds of foods help reduce acidity in your body which promotes fat loss and better overall health. You may even want to consider a green food supplement as they can help you get concentrated nutrition quickly as it can be difficult to consume enough whole green foods that your body needs.
Tip 5: Stay motivated
Setting goals is a great way to monitor your progress and can help you stay on track. Decide how much weight you would like to lose 1 month and then 3 months from now and write them down. A goal like losing 10 pounds a month is fair and can be attained. Review your goals daily to help keep your mind on target. Also connect with the benefits that losing weight and staying thin offers like more energy, greater confidence, less sickness and such. Try following some of these weight loss tips to help you stay thin and healthy.

Winston Salem Gyms:The Easiest Way to lose weight – REally.

April 27th, 2009 by Winston Salem, under winston salem gyms. No Comments

To many, those words can start a fight. There are literally HUNDREDS of people on the internet insisting they have the best way to lose weight, or the fastest way to a thin belly, or the quickest fat loss program out there. Many sites, or books offline, will state that if you eat this food, or perform that exercise, you will suddenly lose weight like never before.
For those of us who are obese, or have been obese, just overweight for many years of our lives…we have been the primary target of all that advertising. We have, as a demographic, spent billions of dollars following the claims and promises of one ad or another…desperately looking for that BEST, FASTEST or QUICKEST way to lose weight.
Unfortunately, there have been few significant changes in the science of weight loss. The bottom line remains: losing weight equals burning more calories than you take in. In other words, eat less, move more. What many of us have bought into is that someone has new information to make it EASIER to lose weight. What if someone actually did…and what if it was FREE? Furthermore, what if we had all heard of it, in most of the success stories we ever heard or read about, but we just didn’t realize it?
Think about it – What would make losing weight easy? If we could eat what we wanted – yes? Actually, if we could eat WHATEVER we wanted – yes?
What if we could eat whatever we wanted – and we just learned to moderate the massive quantities we had eaten…you know 2-3 slices of pizza instead of a whole pie, or 3 scoops of ice cream instead of the whole half-gallon?
In fact, if you could still eat cookies or cake or chocolate or sweets, AND still lose weight – and not have to take pills or powders or go to a gym – wouldn’t that be the EASIEST way to lose weight in the world?
Now – I am NOT saying that you can eat the same way, and move the same way and have a different body; many would call THAT insanity. What I am saying is that you can still eat your favorite foods, if you are willing to cut out a bite of them, here and there, and if you are willing to walk a bit more, here and there.
Really – if you just cut out ONE bite of a candy bar, every day (About 50 calories) and walked about 500-750 feet more every day (if your weight is over 200 pounds), you would lose about 10 pounds in a year. JUST ONE BITE LESS? Just 2 laps around the grocery store more? Yes – really.
You see, people who have lost weight, and kept it off did one thing consistently…they made small changes daily. Just little things, like one less bite of candy bar and a little bit more walking, make a difference. That is what makes the Power of ones the EASIEST way to lose weight, EVER.

Winston Salem Gyms:Rapid Weight Loss Programs That Dispel Can’t Lose Weight Myths

April 26th, 2009 by Winston Salem, under winston salem gyms. No Comments

If you’ve tried almost every diet on the market and you haven’t been losing the desired weight that you want and you followed the diets exactly the way you were supposed to and didn’t lose weight, there is something wrong with the diets, not you. An effective diet will help anybody lose weight.
If diets haven’t been working for you it’s because they aren’t requiring you to cut back on your calorie intake enough, or there not asking you to start a real calorie burning routine. If you cut back on your calories and start burning calories, unless your a freak of nature you will lose weight.
High calorie intake and lack of exercise are the main culprits in weight gain. So you have to get both of those things under control if you want to lose weight. You have to make each one a daily part of your life and you have to exercise self-control when you have a craving for unhealthy foods and you have to motivate yourself when you don’t feel like exercising.
When if comes to weight loss it all boils down to how serious you are about losing weight. You can’t eat junk food, fast food, and other foods high in cholesterol on a daily basis. You have to vary your diet and replace some of those items with healthy alternatives. And you have to add exercise into your daily life. You don’t have to make the gym your new home but you should try to exercise at least 3 times a week.
A daily walk or jog for 1-1.5 miles will start you on the road to burning calories and it’s usually enough for most people to meet there weight loss goals.

Winston Salem Gyms:A breakthrough in healthy weight loss!

April 25th, 2009 by Winston Salem, under winston salem gyms. 1 Comment

Calling Anyone Overweight That Is Sick Of Celebrity Diets Learn To Lose Your Fat Forever!
Still Overweight? Why am I not surprised – don’t worry you’re among millions of people that have the same problem you do. Oddly enough though, every single one of those people – including you – have their own set of special needs in order to battle this weight loss epidemic.
Perhaps you just need to work on the love handles and thighs, or perhaps you are suffering from obesity or are well on your way… It’s no laughing matter for both – health reasons and that of your social existence and self confidence. We’ve been studying this epidemic and have seen both worst case scenarios get even worse, as well as studied the effective treatments that worked for a variety of different body types, metabolism types, and weight categories…
The only thing that works, is when you combine the number one thing that makes you tick (your brain) with the best combination of foods, eating patterns, supplements, and exercises (and I don’t mean busting your butt at the gym – healthy exercise has little to do with treadmills or weights).
The success stories are out there, and the research and development is complete – for everLoss to finally make its way to the public platform as the fastest growing ‘online diet’ program on the internet. Why? Simply due to the fact that IT WORKS! The unique approach to weight loss and healthy living takes you through a variety of actions that stimulate your fat burning engine, and speed up your metabolism. The fact that it’s all online, and delivered to you instantly so you can start right away or absorb slowly and start when ready is very innovative and discreet…
Trying to be discreet about a diet may be tough, and we understand the social issues at hand well – so learning how to diet first, and then approaching it on YOUR time, at YOUR pace, is quite important. Nothing motivates you more than seeing first hand results or finally learning something new. As we like to say here at everLoss.com – Expect Unexpected Results!
This site has been attracting a great crowd for many reasons, some are obvious – it’s simple to use, it’s flexible and fits with anyone’s lifestyle or time schedule, and while it’s still in launch mode it’s currently at a discounted rate to begin – oh and it also comes with a 60 day guarantee so you literally have nothing to lose but your weight. If you DON’T lose weight, well two things happen – 1 – You get 100% of your money back no questions asked, and – 2 – You will continue to search for a quick fix problem that doesn’t exist…
So today, mark it on your calendar as the day you finally stood in the mirror and said to yourself “I’m going to make a change for the better, I’m going to finally attack this ‘fat’ stuff from the right angle (no pun)”. Be smart about losing weight, not a two week try hard only to get fatter again – educate yourself and take our 30 day action plan into effect the moment you are ready – you’ll thank yourself you finally made this choice, and so will those in your circle as the authentic you is revealed from head to toe, and from energy level to sense of well being.

Winston Salem Gyms:How To Lose Weight For Good

April 24th, 2009 by Winston Salem, under winston salem gyms. No Comments

I know so many people who are overweight and have been for years. It’s part of my business to know them. Some have been on every diet known to man. Some have had their stomachs stapled; some liposuction and one fellow even had his jaws wired shut 30 years ago. (I didn’t know him then).
People sadly follow the dieting myths out of desperation. And forgo the good, common sense of maintaining optimum weight. Here’s the lowdown. To lose weight you must have mental focus and eat a well-rounded diet. You must cut back on the food you eat, after all, that’s what got you here to begin with. You also need to run, not walk away from the Top 10 Weight Loss Myths below.
Myth 1: Skip Meals To Lose Weight While we’ve heard about the importance of breakfast there are still so many people who go without breakfast, lunch, or even dinner for that matter. These are known as “grazers”. A grazer will snick-snack on food throughout the day, while never eating a real meal. Grazing can be detrimental to weight loss efforts because the tendency is to eat quick and non-nutritious foods, which are oftentimes high in fat or high in carbohydrates.
Recommendation: If eating at a predetermined mealtime is inconvenient, eat meals when it is convenient. For example, if you get up at 11:00 AM and have classes from noon until 4:30, eat a meal before and after class. (Notice, I didn’t say eat a snack. You’re not a cow, don’t graze.) Eating meals will keep your metabolism running at optimum levels, which will prevent a drop in the metabolic rate. When our body has a decreased food intake the metabolic rate lowers. Eating meals will also prevent binging on non-nutritious foods later in the day.
Myth 2:Foods, Like Cabbage, Can Make You Lose Weight You just may lose weight. But it would more than likely be due to inadequate nutrition and calorie intake. This does not mean you’d lose fat. The body goes into a type of panic mode when placed on starvation-type diets. In this situation muscle tissue would be used for energy in addition to fat storage. This will leave the dieter looking flabby and under toned. Not a very attractive picture.
Recommendation: I have 2 recommendations for this one. The first is a product with fucoxanthin in it. Fucoxanthin has been shown to have an adaptive thermogenic effect on fat burning. Helping to lose belly fat in particular. I have access to a fucoxanthin product made with a process called FucoPure which is 10 times stronger than fucoxanthin and 1000 times more potent than fucoxanthin normally occurring in seaweed (that’s where it comes from). You Can Find That Info below the article.
Second, even if you hate exercising with a passion. Even if you’d rather slice off body parts than exercise, even if you say to me “Sarah I am much too heavy to exercise.”
Listen… I’m not asking you to run a marathon. I’m not asking you to go to a gym and do heavy weight lifting. I’m not asking for you to take your position in the front row of a horrific aerobics class. I’m asking you, do you want to die before you’re supposed to? If the answer is “no”, and I sure hope it is, I’m asking you to take baby steps.
How do you eat a prime rib roast? One bite at a time.
If you’re totally sedentary, take 10 minutes out of your day and walk the block. You can do 10 minutes. And the following week, add 5 minutes to that. Keep adding minutes until you are walking or wheeling AT LEAST 30-minutes each day. Don’t forget your water bottle.
If You’re In a wheelchair, your arms are probably stronger than mine. Get out there for 10 minutes and wheel yourself around the block. A hoveround is cheating and so is someone pushing you. ;)
Myth 3: High Protein – Low Carb Diets Are A Healthy Way To Lose Weight Carbohydrates are not bad for you. I don’t know who started this myth, but it should be stopped. It is important, when trying to lose weight, you should limit the amount of refined carbohydrates and instead replace them with high-fiber fruits, vegetables and whole grains.
There are numerous problems associated with getting a large portion of dietary intake from protein alone, including decreased energy. Carbohydrates are your body’s first source of energy. Then we can talk about constipation. Constipation when eating only high protein diets are not only common… when we are constipated how do we look? FAT. So THAT’s not going to work for us right? I won’t even go into the health considerations of being constipated. I’ll just harass you with that on another article or lens. :)
When a person is on a high protein – low carb diet for too long it can lead to a buildup of keytones. This can be very beneficial for individuals with certain seizure types but not very beneficial otherwise. This condition is called ketosis. Ketosis has it’s own yucky side effects such as high levels of uric acid, which can lead to gout and kidney stones.
Myth 4: Low Fat Or Nonfat Foods Are Good For You Have you ever really looked at a low fat label? Just because something has lower grams of fat does not mean it’s good for you. In many cases, low fat foods have more simple carbs in them to make them taste better. In other words, sugar. And by now you know that sugar just turns into… FAT. Ah, what a roller coaster ride of misinformation we are fed. So what am I saying exactly? Low fat or no fat may be better than high fat, but it certainly does not mean that it is “healthy” or “good” for you. That’s A Lie.
Myth 5: Fad Diets Work Long-Term If You Stick To Them Fad diets are the type of diets to promise quick weight loss by eating certain foods in combination with another food and by eliminating some sorts of foods all together. Slide rule not included. Give me a break. It took us a while to gain weight so it’s going to take us awhile to lose weight. That is, if you want to lose it for good. Otherwise partake in silly fad diets, lose a couple quick pounds and gain back double.
Are you losing a little weight on fad diets? You betcha. And 90% of it is water. Is this what you’re hoping for? Go sit in a sauna it’s less painful. And see your nutritional therapist. Why? Because these types of quickie diets often leave followers with low amounts of important nutrients. So you’ve lost weight that you’ll gain back, you’re dehydrated, and now your hair is falling out. Tradeoff? I think not.
Myth 6: Drinking Water Will Make You Lose Weight The truth is drinking water will not make you lose weight. A more correct statement would be, “Drinking water can help in weight loss.”
It’s true that drinking a healthy amount of water is important to good health. It’s not true that drinking water will make you lose weight. What helps you lose weight is the tradeoff. Trading water for high calorie drinks leads to weight loss because you’re not consuming as many calories. And, consuming fewer calories encourages weight loss.
Water is very important whether or not you are dieting. Your liver needs to pick up where the kidneys leave off. This isn’t one of it’s main functions but it’s an important one. Our kidneys need water in order to work at optimum levels. So, if our kidneys don’t have sufficient water, the liver has to work harder and it can’t do it’s main job properly. Which is to metabolize as quickly as possible. So water depletion can lead to ugly fat being stored in the body.
Myth 7: Vegetarians Are Thin And Healthy Many times, going vegetarian, in my personal experience with people, leads to loss of muscle mass, less health, with a higher percentage of body fat. Now before you start screaming at me… there are exceptions. Many vegetarians are extremely careful in their food consumption. They are also in tune with their body probably more than most people. This is a good thing. But understand, these individuals didn’t just decide overnight not to eat meat. They not only researched the possibilities, they also read, listened to others and once they were sure becoming vegetarian was for them, they did it.
Others, like my sister, became a vegetarian because she didn’t like hot dogs. I’m not kidding. I don’t care for hot dogs either, but I’m not a vegetarian.
My sister is always ill. Always. From severe depression to sore throat, colds, allergies, yeast infections, lethargy. You name it, she has it. Her complexion, which was once stunning, is now sallow and pale. Her blond hair, which was once the color of honey is now a grey almost beige color. And she’s only 27 years old.
And her daughter? She convinced her that she doesn’t like hot dogs either. Now, at age 5, her daughter has allergies, asthma and is anemic. She’s also had pneumonia three times, and is allergic to everything known to mankind. Her skin looks as if she’s never seen sunlight.
The reason it’s not healthy for SOME people to just stop eating meat, is because in order to obtain adequate protein, which we need for building and rebuilding muscles, a vegetarian often has to consume foods higher in calories to get the same amount of protein that someone who eats lean meats and fish can get in far fewer calories.
Tofu, beans, high protein grains must be eaten in large quantities to get adequate protein. In addition, proteins from plant sources are incomplete proteins. This means they need a second form of plant protein to compliment each other. Yep, more calories. Protein from animals are complete proteins that are easier to digest and can be used by the body right away. But again, this does not mean that vegetarians aren’t thin. So many are. These are the vegetarians where being so is not a fad… but a way of life.
Myth 8: Don’t Eat Nuts, They Are Fattening Another lie. Nuts, while fattening, are sources of healthy fats. Every diet needs fats, as they carry extremely important functions for transporting vitamins A,D, E and K throughout the body and promoting the growth of healthy hair, nails and skin.
Nuts also have been identified as a great way to suppress hunger. I add nuts and granola to my yogurt. As long as you are careful about portion size, nuts are the perfect addition to plenty of foods.
Myth 9: Eating After 8 PM Causes Weight Gain Yes and no. If you eat a handful of Kashi at 8:00 PM, chances are “no” you will not gain weight. In nearly every instance it’s WHAT we eat and how MUCH we eat that influences weight gain. And this leads us back to how many calories did we burn today.
The downside of eating at night is twofold. First, we’re more tired than we are in the middle of the day so we grab something that’s fast, easy and decadent. Do I hear the words ice cream? Second, our body begins it’s transaction to the more sedentary night time state and gets ready for 8 hours of inactivity. This means fewer calories will be burned.
Myth 10: Salads Are Always The Healthiest Choice Many people will eat only salads for lunches and / or dinner. YES a leafy green side salad without dressing is much healthier than a side order of French fries, salads are not always the healthiest choice. Awwww, say it ain’t so. How many people do you know eat their salad without some sort of fattening cheese or dressing? A healthier choice would be red wine vinegar without the cheese. Even fruits can be a downfall if you pile on the salad bar sweetened dried apricots; banana chips, nuts, and seeds. While all of these may be healthy, they also add hidden calories to salads. While there are many lower-calorie salad options, there are also still some salads that far surpass the calorie content of burgers.

Winston Salem Gyms:Choosing a Weight Loss Diet for Your Health

April 23rd, 2009 by Winston Salem, under winston salem gyms. No Comments

Congratulations on your decision to lose weight! You probably don’t need to, but it is good that you have decided to take control of your health. Taking control of your health is the best thing you can do for yourself and you are in luck. There is more than one health weight loss diet. In fact, there are lots of healthy weight loss diets!
A good health weight loss diet works on both your eating habits and your exercise routine. The trick is to take it slow. If you don’t normally exercise and try to start running 5 miles every day (without building up to it) you will most likely injure yourself. If you suddenly cut out ninety percent of your food intake, you will be sure to get sick and tired very quickly.
The trick to a health weight loss diet is to start slow. Start following the food pyramid. Eat well balanced meals and reduce your portion sizes. Would it surprise you to know that not so very long ago, there used to be room left over on a plate even with a full dinner placed on it? And no, the world’s plates have not gotten smaller. A smaller meal that is balanced will help your body learn how to process real food again. A balanced meal will also give you a lot more energy than that burger you got at McDonalds will. You will need that energy for your exercise routine.
Another key factor of a health weight loss diet is exercise. Your exercise routine should start small and slowly build up. This means that it is a bad idea to go from sitting on your couch to running five miles a day. Your body will simply crap out from that kind of pressure. Also, in order for an exercise routine to work it needs to work all of the muscle groups and your cardio system. When you are first starting out, it is a good idea to join a gym. The gym employees will help you build up your muscles and sort out a proper exercise routine. Before you know it, the weight will start slipping away.
Just remember, you want to be healthy. Healthy trumps thin every day. The best way to lose weight is with a health weight loss diet, not with some fad or crash diet that you can find on the internet.

Winston Salem Gyms:Does Exercise Eventually Get Rid of Cellulite?

April 22nd, 2009 by Winston Salem, under winston salem gyms. 1 Comment

doing it for a while, and not seeing any results, they may ask themselves… Does exercise eventually get rid of cellulite?
The problem is not how much they exercise, but how they exercise. Lifting weights vigorously, or using complicated gym equipment really isn’t necessary, and 9 out of 10 times it doesn’t make any difference.
Exercises to get rid of cellulite
There are certain exercises that you can do that are particularly good at getting rid of cellulite, and what’s more, you can do them all from home without any fancy equipment.
Squats
Squats are my favourite method for getting rid of cellulite, simply because they work the most efficiently. If you have cellulite on your thighs, then 20-40 squats everyday will show some amazing changes within only one week.
Lunges
As embarrassing as it may sound, if you have cellulite on your backside, then doing 20-40 lunges every day is equally as good at removing cellulite. If you do have cellulite on your legs, then I have found that doing a combination of squats and lunges everyday for a fortnight is incredibly effective, and you should see huge improvements.
Step Ups
Step Ups seem to take longer than the other two, but they are still effective. The great thing about this exercise is that you can implement it in your everyday life. For instance, instead of taking the lift or the elevator, take the stairs. It may seem strange that just walking up stairs can reduce cellulite, but in the long run it can have some brilliant effects.
Jogging
If you can take the time every day to go for a 10 – 15 minute jog, then you will see some amazing reduction in your cellulite in a short amount of time. You don’t need to jog for too long, or too fast, and you don’t need to push yourself to keep going either. As long as you are up and about, your body will be taking care of that cellulite for you.

Winston Salem Gyms:How to have a successful diet plan

April 21st, 2009 by Winston Salem, under winston salem gyms. 1 Comment

A study shows that women spend a decade of their life being on diet, however, a quarter of all women lose nothing at all. We are constantly on diet. But how many of us actually succeed the diet.
For most women, including myself, everytime we begin our diet, we are so motivated and determined that it will succeed this time. We go to the gym and fill our fridges with fruits, vegetables and all the low fat food. But how many of us could last until we reach our goals or some might even gain more.
Determined to make changes to myself, I read a lot of articles on how to have a successful diet plan and to share it with u guys, I summarise all of them into a few points which I think will really help.
First of all, choose a weight loss program that is appropriate and suitable to us.
There are lots and lots of weight loss program out there. Low fat diet, low GI diet, atkins, southbeach diet, just name it. All with promises that their programs will work and I do believe they all will. We just have to find one that could fit our daily routines or our lifestyles and one that we could enjoy while doing it. For example, if you can’t live without bread, rice or carbs, don’t choose a low carb high protein diet, as you know it wouldn’t last long for you.
Tomorrow never dies
After you find the right plan for you, start straight away and don’t make it as an excuse to eat more before you start. In my case, there’s always tomorrow . I’ll say to myself “I’ll start my diet Tomorrow !!” and since Tomorrow I can’t have my chocolates anymore, I’ll indulge myself in all sort of chocolates and ice creams and snacks even when I’m still full. But tomorrow never dies and there’s always gonna be another “Tomorrow ” and that’s when we put on more weight. Therefore, try not to compromise, start the diet as soon as you can, be confidence and believe in yourself.
It doesn’t mean fail when we cheat
There’s always a time when we cheat during our diet plan. But it doesn’t mean that we are already fail and for some people, they will think that all diets are useless and eat even more. When we are eating out or going to a party, try to eat food that can accommodate with our diet plans but if we can’t and we have to cheat then it’s also find. But don’t eat the whole lot of it. Cheat a little bit and continue with your diet again the next day
Don’t forget to be active
to lose weight more effectively, we have to exercise. I know for some people, this could be a turn off, but in order to maintain a healthy weight, exercise is necessary. Be more active in our daily routines is also another way of exercising. We could also join the gym but don’t go too extreme too early. In the beginning of diet, people tend to overwork themselves in their exercise and this will make them get tired easily. Get tired of exercising and get tired by losing their energy. Another good option is try to have fun while being active. For example, join dancing classes, play some sports or even window shopping.
Don’t weight yourself too often
Try not to weight yourself everyday. At least once a week. We always feel anxious when we weight ourself and of course, after we work so hard to stay on diet, daily weigh-ins are tempting. But we could easily get discouraged if no weight loss is recorded and after a week, it is more possible to see a result. Another reason is our weight on the scale can go up and down daily due to fluctuations of water in our body, so we can’t really based it as the result of our diet.
Make a weight loss diary
Research shows that dieters that write down everything that they eat, lose down twice as much weights as those people who don’t. Make your own weight loss diary. Write down your progress every day and even your temptations and your guilts. This will keep track of your diet plan, make you more focus and more food concious.
